Week 3 FYP1

Update for week 3:

Last Friday, I have come out with a meeting with my supervisor to do some discussions and updating the progress of my project. There are several elements that were touched during a meeting, such as: 

1)project title

2)problem statement

3)and the objectives of the study.

During the discussion, I have come out with an idea to make a project that was named, "To reduce the risk of being suddenly attacked by asthma disease",  especially for those who suffer from the illness. The aim of this project was to reduce the probability of being attack by asthma in any situation. This project will identify the early signs of an asthma attack, which often happens to individuals, and an early notification of message will sending via mobile phone. 

Therefore, there are several factors that can influence this disease such example:

1)allergies to dust, pollen, and animal dander

2)allergic to certain foods such as nuts, ice, dairy products, etc.

3)cough and flu

4)inhaling cigarette smoke or smoking.

However, further research on details for this topic needs to be done firmly and more focussing on the causes of an early stage. Besides, it will boots more knowledge and understanding more comprehensively, so that it can be produced perfectly. 

At the end of the discussion, we have been tasked with a few homework for the fourth week's agenda. The things are:

1)To build the synopsis of the project

2)To find a suitable and relevant title

3)Conclude the problem statement and objectives.

Week 2 FYP1

For the second week, on the journey of Final Year Project 1:

Through my research in the world of electronics and intellectual systems, these two items have played a major role in making improvements on technological devices. In addition, the products that have been produced using advanced technology are able to facilitate the human life in future.

Therefore, as a result of the research that I have done especially in the field of health, there are several project titles that can be created to facilitate the world of health, especially for patients and nurses. Among the projects that I have concluded are:

1. Breathing control nebulization system
2. Bionic sensor based foot sensing and hip monitoring with lcd display.
3. Breathing Monitoring and Pattern Recognition with Wearable Sensors.

However, the project is already on the market. Through the reading from that project, I have collected some information and knowledge to come out with new ideas and improvements for my project title. Discussion and a further meeting will be held with my supervisor to do the analysis more details about a progress project such as:

- To find a suitable title
- Outcoming of the project in the future
- The understanding and functionality project. 

Week 1 FYP1

First of all, let me introduce myself, I'm Norashikin Binti Mohamad student from the University Kuala Lumpur British Malaysian Institute taking the Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Medical Electronics. Currently, I'm in the 6th semester, and now will be conducting the project for my assessment. 

For the first week, on Friday afternoon, my friends and I met up with our supervisor Mrs. Azliza for the subject of Final Year Project 1.  During the meeting, we are having some discussion and chit-chat on our title project, the progress, and planning for the whole semester. In the first week, we have been tasked to:

1. Find a suitable project that was related to my course and Medical uses.

2. Making up the Blog Websites to update the progress of our work. 

Until then, I'm still doing some research on the current technology for applying in my project. 

End up, for now, till the update for the second week.
