Week 4 FYP1: Register Title of FYP Project

Update for week 4:

Wednesday, on first September 2021 at 3.30 pm, I have met with my supervisor to do a meeting and further discussion on my new project ideas. Through the meeting this evening, I have recommended a new title that was related to the current condition right now. These ideas were come out when I observing the situation that the medical team and patients of covid -19 have to face when they were staying at quarantine centers. Because of that, I have prepared a few pieces of information while doing the research on this title, for a better understanding to me, my supervisor also for my blog reader. There it's:

1. Sinopsis of the project:

The title: DEVELOPMENT OF HEALTH MONITORING SYSTEM WITH IOT FOR COVID PATIENT AT QUARANTINE CENTER, 

Sinopsis: It brings the meaning is, the health monitoring system has been transforming into a new system, together with the current technology IoT (Internet of Things), as a system for collect and transmit data using the internet, to electronic devices such a fon, table, laptop, etc.
The system will be used at the quarantine center covid-19 patients, to monitor their health status (BP, oxygen, heartbeat). After that, the result of the measurement will be transferred to the medical team using IoT technology. Furthermore, the advantage of this system is, the medical staff will have less contact with the positive patient, therefore it will reduce the risk of being infected. 

2. Problem Statement from this project:

• Doctors need to regularly monitor patient health.
• There is an increasing number of patients for the doctors to monitor.
• Doctors and nurses are at high risk to get infections.
• Patients have to wait a long time to make routine health check-ups. 

3. Objectives:

• To gets the instant alert in case of health fluctuations or emergencies.
• To reduces the time of check-ups for patients.
• To reduces the risk of getting an infection, especially for the medical team.

Finally, at the end of the meeting, my supervisor has agreed to approve this title project to be realized as a new product for the final year project. For the next agenda, I have been tasked to do some reading and collecting some data on the related journals and articles of these projects. These tips are very useful for improving your knowledge and understanding while going through the process of making a new product.
