Week 10 FYP1: Completed draft for Chapter 1

 Update for week 10

In week 10, I have completed the writing of chapter 1 for my project proposal.  Now, I am continuing the wiring for chapters 2 and 3. Here are some of the progress from chapter 1.

Week 9 FYP1: Continue writing on the project proposal - Chap 1

Update for week 9

In week 9, I have done a meeting and discussion with my supervisor on 13 October 2021 at Microsoft Team. During the meeting, my supervisor has done several checks on my proposal writing to see the content and explanation about the project. There are a few mistakes such a grammatical errors, unclear points, and lack of description about the research background. Here, I'm attaching several mistakes in the proposal.

According to that, I have done some adjustments to the proposal regarding the ideas and structure of sentences. For the incoming week, I was planning to continue writing for the rest of the topic of chapter 1. It will including the significance of the project, scopes and limitations, also a summary of chapter 1.

Week 8 FYP1: Attend Workshop 4 and Starting Writing Chapter 1

 Update for week 8

For the 8th week, I have attended workshop 4 class that is Presentation and Defense Proposal, which focuses on students for the Preparation Slide Presentation and documentation and Tips & Tricks of presentation. The most highlighted point that was being focused on is presented based on the above figure.

• Planing
• Preparing 
• Practicing
• Presenting

These tips & tricks are useful and helpful for students to do a preparation for Defense Proposal Day presentation that will be held on week 12.

Besides it, I have completed the task that was assigned by my supervisor, which is writing up the:

1. Introduction
2. Problem Statement
3. Objectives of project

Before this, I have written up the draft on the problem statement and objectives point. So, this is the finalized point based on my proposal writing.  

1. Introduction:

• This picture basically shows the process between IoT, Medical Systems, and Electronics devices that are connected to each other, and create up new systems for Health Monitoring Systems.  A coalescence of the Internet of Things features in health monitoring systems generates a convenient methodology for systems in observing and analyzing for necessary patients. Another preference from this technology which the device is consuming slighter power, performance in good ways with high sensitivity, and is easy to set - up. This system can be placed in certain areas such as hospitals and clinics specific for ward sections, quarantine centers, or maybe your home to assist medical teams in identifying, anticipate, and treat patient needs across the continuum of care. Besides, this study aims to develop a project of the health monitoring system with IoT technology to be used by patients who are infected with Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) at a quarantine center. These devices require patients to self-measure the health condition of the body with minimal assistance from a medical team to reduce the rate of contact between humans.

   2.  Problem statement: 

The problem statement  of this project are:

•  Firstly, medical teams especially doctors and nurses are still a risk state to get covid -19 infections but in minimalize percentage due to close contact with patients.
• Next, this project requires a doctor to do regularly monitor patient health. Due to the enlarged number of covid-19 infections, every day the quarantine center receives a huge number of patients. 

  3.  Objectives of the project:

The main objectives of this project are:

• To reduce the risk of getting an infection, especially for the medical team.
• To minimize the health examination period for patients and doctors. 

That ends my updated progress report for this week, for another week I was planning to continue writing on the proposal which focusing on significance, scope and imitation, and summary.
