Week 4, FYP 2: Modify Blood Pressure Sensor

Update week 4

For the progress of this week, I have made some modifications to the Blood pressure device. This device was ready-mate equipment that have been sold on the market. The reason I do some modifications on this device is that there's no specific sensor for Blood pressure. Besides, I running out of time regarding the duration to complete this project being only 14 weeks. That's why I choose this method. The type of device that was used is Digital Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor.

As you can see from pictures no.2, I try to connect the wires from Nodemcu esp8266 to the mainboard. Because Nodemcu is a function to transmit the data wirelessly using the internet protocol to the websites. Unfortunately, the device is not functioning very well. I try to troubleshoot the device but it still not working properly.

Other than that, there's no datasheet of this Blood pressure device on the internet, when I do some research. Datasheet of the component or device is very important as references to check its specification and functionality. Because of that, it is hard to do further modifications and troubleshooting on certain parts.
As result of picture no.3, it shows that there's no reading from the Blood pressure sensor. The device was running when I put it on the wrist, but it's doesn't produce any output. So, for the next work progress, I will keep continuing work on this device.
